New House Hockey Mini-Seasons!!!

We are extremely excited to announce that House Hockey with the Tri-City Eagles is now a year round experience!  Partnering with The Gardens Ice House, TCE will now provide a comprehensive experience for players to grow, develop, learn, and have fun playing the most amazing sport on earth!

Beginning July 9th, the Tri-City Eagles are introducing their first ever House Hockey Summer “Mini-Season,” a seven week series that takes place on Saturdays from 1:00-2:00pm at The Gardens Ice House.  These sessions will emphasize fun competition focused on player growth through a cross-ice/small area gameplay experience.  Through smaller games, players will develop crucial team concepts like puck support, puck possession, puck movement, angling, defensive support, and net front presence.  Teams will be fluid and flexible, changing weekly, even daily, to create balance and a quality experience for all.  It is open to players up to the age of 12 (born in 2010).  Sound cool and ready for more?  We’ve got a House Hockey Fall Mini-Season, too!!!

For the first time, Tri-City is building an experience specific to players entering, developing within, or looking to grow beyond House Hockey.  Here are some highlights:

– Saturdays 1:00-2:00pm will be consistent throughout the year.  No more 4:45am Saturday alarm clocks.  Seriously.

– TCE House Hockey now immediately follows the “Learn to Play” program, which in turn follows the “Learn to Skate” program.  This design builds a natural progression through programming provided by The Gardens Ice House, culminating with Tri-City Eagles House Hockey.

– TCE House Hockey Mini-Seasons will also coincide with the seven week “Learn to Play” series, meaning players will have a smooth transition as they progress in the spring, summer, and fall.  Players can even easily participate in both if they wish!
