Clinic Overview:

Tri-City is excited to add three advanced power skating clinics to the Spring Clinic line up! One offering will be for 12U and younger players, one for for 14U+, and then one for all ages! Led by Tri-City Eagles Skating Director Kate Kreyling. This twenty-one week clinic will be centered on the development of the player’s strength, coordination, and agility. It is encouraged to sign up quickly, and for all sessions as spots are limited.

The Offensive IQ Clinic is a skill-focused program that helps players develop smarter, more creative offensive play. It emphasizes reading the game, making quick decisions, creating scoring opportunities, and effective puck movement, empowering players to generate offense with confidence and purpose in real game situations. This clinic is designed for 14U and older players and features 6 sessions.

Clinic Overview:

The Defensive IQ Clinic is a focused training program designed to help players improve their defensive awareness, decision-making, and on-ice positioning. The clinic emphasizes reading plays, anticipating opponents’ moves, effective gap control, and strong communication, giving players the tools to defend smarter and more confidently in game situations. This clinic is designed for 14U and older players and features 6 sessions.

Clinic Overview:

The window between the end of the season and the beginning of tryouts is small.  Our Tryout Prep Clinics are designed for you to maximize that time frame by honing your hockey, skating, and competitive skills. 

10U/12U:

14U/19U Girls:

Each TOP Clinic will feature lots of competitive drills and is age specifically designed to focus on elements important to your next season!

• 10U/12U - full ice drills, developing skills on zone entry (offsides), spatial awareness,  puck support, and skill development through competition and physical play.
• 14U - developing the fundamentals and art of body contact (checking) to maximize puck possession.
• 16U/18U/19U - battling with pace in both small and large areas.

These clinics will be led Tri-City Eagles Youth Midget Development Director Scott Sutherland and Girls Development Director Matt Haney supported by the help of other talented coaches.

Open to all skater positions, this clinic aims to add essential offensive skills through station-based training. Acquire the skills that will help you show up more often on the scoresheet! Led by Tri-City Directors and coaches, this clinic is open to youth hockey players of all ages and skill level.

Clinic Overview:

This special hybrid clinic will feature both overspeed skating coupled with stick skills. Led by Liam Eden and Kellen Henderson, this clinic aims to increase skills and abilities at top speed, pushing players outside of their comfort zone. This clinic is designed for players 10U and older.  Come hydrated!

Clinic Overview: These clinic sessions will feature goaltender specific training stations in a small-group lesson setting.  Goaltenders will work on: skating, tracking, angling/depth control, rebound control, recovery, conditioning, and competing.  Space is limited to maximize results.

Clinic Overview: The Tri-City Eagles Checking Clinic is a fundamental approach to the skills and mechanics associated with the modern checking game.  Coaches will utilize a controlled environment to build growth and confidence in this essential aspect of hockey.  Space is limited to increase quality instruction and repetitions.  These sessions are fantastic for rising 14U players (2013's), but are also a great way to reinforce fundamentals of players going into their 2nd year of 14U hockey (2012's).
